Hello everyone,

For all that helped, attended or didn't attend even though we didn't have a very good guest turn out but our show was still a success.  As soon as I get the archive URL I will post it.

We are hoping to hear from Mr. Culvert on the Sr. PGA tour in August.  As soon as we hear anything we will let you all know about and we are hoping that this can be a larger success for us.

Talking with Heroes

As Minnesota prepares to welcome home the more than 2,600 soldiers serving with the 1st Brigade Combat Team in Iraq, Bob Calvert, host and founder of Talking with Heroes Talk Show, is trying to get back into Iraq.

“We’re working on our third trip to Iraq and our first to Afghanistan and it will probably happen one after another,” said Calvert on a live Talking with Heroes broadcast May 20, 2007.

Talking with Heroes started its operation in December of 2005 and is a non-political talk show aimed at helping, honoring, supporting and providing information for servicemembers and their families. The show broadcasts from locations such as Iraq to give servicemembers the opportunity to share their stories about serving with the military overseas.

On May 4th the show embarked on a “2007 On The Road Tour”, broadcasting from various locations across the country and raising money for their next trip into Iraq. Though the show has already made an appearance in Minnesota, they are hoping to return for another live broadcast later this year.

“We’re working on doing another show here in Minnesota at the Senior PGA Tour in August,” said Calvert.
